My name is Christopher LeGras. I’m a recovering lawyer, a journalist, and a pilot. As a lawyer I represented some of the most vulnerable people in our nation, including Hurricane Katrina survivors, veterans, public school students, and low income people. My journalism has appeared or is forthcoming in The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, The Recorder, L.A. Journal, Mayor Sam’s Blog, and elsewhere.
Among other issues I write about education, infrastructure, development, and transportation. I received my bachelor’s degree in Political Economy and History from Boston College and my law degree from the University of California Hastings College of Law. As a fifth generation Californian, I’m especially passionate about my state and the people who live here.
