The all aspect report chases stories from neighborhoods to capitals. We look for patterns and playbooks.
My name is Christopher LeGras. I started the all aspect report in 2019 as an independent voice in California and nationwide.
I’m a journalist and (recovering) lawyer. As a lawyer I’ve represented some of the most vulnerable people in our nation, including Hurricane Katrina survivors, veterans, public school students, and low income Californians. My journalism has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Daily News, The Los Angeles Times, The Orange County Register, New Geography, The Recorder, CityWatch, Reason, L.A. Journal, and elsewhere. Among other issues I write about law, education, infrastructure, transportation, and urban planning/development. I am an active member of The Los Angeles Press Club.
I received my bachelor’s degree in Political Economy and History from Boston College and my law degree from the University of California Hastings College of Law. I served as a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas S. Zilly in the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. As a fifth generation Californian, I’m especially passionate about my state and the people who live here.
